Meet The Doctors

Dr. Casey

Dr. Casey is a General Dentist who takes pride in creating and maintaining healthy smiles. He grew up in the Inland Northwest and attended undergraduate school at Franciscan University in Ohio. He attended Dental School at Creighton University in Nebraska and is happy to be back in the Northwest practicing since 2001. Dr. Casey opened his practice in Liberty Lake in the Fall of 2002.

Dr. Casey has participated in FDA clinical research trials for the implant system called Trefoil All-On-3. Four of his patients successfully completed the trials, and Nobel Biocare launched the release in the Fall of 2017. Dr. Casey has also completed hundreds of hours of continuing education including advanced cosmetic, implant, Invisalign, and orthodontics. He has been a member of the American Dental Society, Washington Dental Society, and Spokane Dental Society since 2001.

Dr. Casey and his wife have seven children. In his spare time, he enjoys snow skiing with his family, hiking, and camping.

Dr. Macall

Dr. Brian Macall was raised in San Jose, CA and introduced to dentistry at a young age by his grandfather and two uncles who were dentists. He attended Creighton University in Omaha, NE and earned a Bachelor of Science in biology in 2001 before earning his Doctorate in Dental Surgery in 2005. Upon dental school graduation, Dr. Macall moved to Liberty Lake, WA and started his dental career in private practice in Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho.

In 2006, he relocated to Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic, a community health clinic in North Spokane. At this clinic, Dr. Macall treats many of the area’s underserved residents and serves as Mentoring Dentist to dental students and dental school graduates. While at Yakima Valley Clinic, Dr. Macall was instrumental in establishing a successful one-year advanced education dental residency. He currently is a faculty member of Lutheran Medical Center which provides one-on-one training for post-graduate dentists. In addition to this, he is a dental faculty member at the University of Washington and a mentor for UW students who do a four-month rotation at Yakima Valley Clinic in Spokane, known as the RIDE program.

Dr. Macall is a member of many dental organizations including Washington Dental Quality Assurance Committee, ABCD Program, the American Dental Association, and the Spokane Dental Society. He is also a medical staff member at Sacred Heart Hospital where he treats pediatric and developmentally disabled patients.

Dr. Macall enjoys spending time with his wife, Abby, and their five children, playing golf, attending his kids’ sporting events, and taking advantage of various outdoor recreational opportunities in the area.

Dr. Bryce Fortner

Dr. Bryce Fortner is a skilled and compassionate dentist who has been with our practice for the past year, working on Fridays, and is now joining our team full-time. A Spokane Valley native, Dr. Fortner earned his undergraduate degree in biology from Brigham Young University and his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Indiana University.

Dr. Fortner has 14 years of experience at the Community Health Association of Spokane (CHAS), where he made significant contributions to patient care. He is highly experienced in oral surgery, IV sedation procedures, and wisdom teeth removal, and he is committed to staying at the forefront of dental advancements through hundreds of hours of continuing education.

An active member of several professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, the Spokane District Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry, Dr. Fortner is deeply involved in the dental community. Outside of his professional life, he is a devoted husband and father of four, with a passion for camping, snowboarding, and playing the guitar.

Dr. Fortner’s blend of professional expertise and personal warmth makes him an invaluable addition to our team, and we are excited for our patients to benefit from his care.

Dr. Olivia Kraft Stonehouse

Dr. Olivia Kraft Stonehouse was raised in Spokane, WA. She grew up in the north Spokane area and attended Gonzaga Preparatory for high school. Both of her parents were also raised here, and she loves the Inland Northwest. She was inspired to pursue dentistry after her childhood dentist showed her how it combines the arts and the sciences in a career that enables her to help people every day! She earned a Bachelor of Science in biology in 2014 from Santa Clara University before earning her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Washington in 2019. Dr. Stonehouse then completed an AEGD (advanced education in general dentistry) residency in 2020 through Northwest Dental Residency. She practiced dentistry on the west side of the state before being blessed with the opportunity to move back to her home community of Spokane in 2022.

Dr. Stonehouse is a member of dental professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, the Washington Dental Society, and the Spokane Dental Society. Her dental interests include cosmetic dentistry and pediatric airway screening and therapy, as well as comprehensive treatment planning aimed toward a partnership in achieving oral health. 

She approaches each patient with empathy and clarity as together they chart a path toward achieving the maximum attainability of the individual patient’s goals. She has treated many patients who struggle with anxiety in the dental setting, and is certified in providing mild sedative measures (such as nitrous oxide, or mild benzodiazepines) for patient comfort. She also takes joy in seeing children in her practice and loves the privilege of treating the entire family!

In her spare time, Dr. Stonehouse enjoys spending time with her husband and son, being involved in her community through volunteer pursuits, working out, and interior decorating.
